i got a new lens.. the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and decided to take it to work and take some pics on my lunch break to just test the quality and sharpness...
outta all the test pics this would have to be the most interesting one.. since i started working at this place in the city ive alwayz looked at this lil Fire Hydrant box and always wanted to take a picture of it.. and now i did.. ehehehe
hopefully this lens is ok.. i really wanted the 24-70mm f/2.8 USM L but i just couldnt justify the price after i heard so many good things about the Tamron..
Super nice read this review.. lighter than an L lens [link]
Let us know how you go.. is it a new release, did you look at sigma and can I ask how muchy??? The constant 2.8 sounds great!
I want a canon 50-150!

there are alot of positive reviews about the Tamron, but in the same light alot of negative ones from L loving users!

ive done test shots and im happy with them... im shooting a wedding next saturday so that will be the real test...
i purchased it off ebay for $570.. if your interested i can get you in contact with the seller.. he is from Melbourne so your not dealing with overseas shipment from HK or anything like that.. anywhere else like paxtons its about $700...
